Friday evening at work... was so happy !!
excited about the weekend!!! no great plans though!!
reached home!! then got an invite from my manager for dinner!! he has recently moved to a new flat and me and my roommies went !! and we were stunned by the way the flat was kept!!
it was so clean and very neat!! infact we were very cautious that we don't leave any marks or dirt!!
i got a guilty feeling! thought i should clean my home too!!(Although my home is not too dirty as how the other bachelor's houses are expected to be)
came back and slept!!!
Saturday morning... it was raining !! and it was so cold!!! i thought of sleeping again!! dint get sleep..
called my mom and spoke to her.. then to my sister and then to few of my friends...
by the time when i got up it was already half past 11....
came down stairs and the house was haunted ... no one was there!! my roommates have gone out!!
was hungry!! went to kitchen and made horlicks for myself and drank!!
finally took a decision to clean the house...!!!
where to start!!!!
ok let me start from kitchen!!
let me arrange all the items in racks!!! ok perfect!!! switched on my laptop!! ilayaraja's music!!!
cleaned the utensils !!!
cleaned the sink!!!
still had energy!!!
then cleaned the burners!!!
cleaned the oven, the kicthen slab!!
phew!! the kitchen stage is neat!!
god!! look at the floor.... when i shifted to this house the floor was like white clouds... now after 2 months it has become like yellow and brownish in colour!!!
took a scrub and mr.musle!!! started to clean the floor...
yes!! tired a bit!!!
10*10 kitchen and it took 1 comeplete hour to clean the floor....
blimey... my kitchen was looking gorgeous now!!!
locked the door and came to the living room....
arranged all the furnitures... dining table ... cleaned them and now comes the carpet!!!
vacummed the carpet!! staircase.... pathway!!
uff!!!
then here comes the bathroom!!! a tough one!!! harpic!! the savior !! another hour passed... time was half past 2.....
finally the kitchen looks gorgeous!!! living room was live!!!
then went upstairs to clean my room...!!!
arranged my study table ... books.. my face creams.. body lotion.. speakers... mobile chargers... books.. blah blah...
my clothes arranged in the racks!! bed made neat... arranged shoes.... then cleaned the floor... placed floor mat...
uff perfect!!! god my back hurts!!! it's 3 ....
took a shower!! felt like heaven!!!
ok... let me cook now...
what to cook????? pongal!!! and a sweet for evening... night morkulambu!!!
started with pongal!!! went out to a shop to buy milk .. cashews .. prepared a delicious pongal..
had it myself and saved something for my friends...
started with the sweet(pal kozhulattai).. felt like having....
prepared the rice floor... made it a dough and made small small balls!!
god.. how many minute things and tough works to do ...
called my mom to check for the measurements!!!
stuffed them in the boiling water... added milk.. prepared jaggery syrup...
finally my sweet was ready ...
came to the living room and relaxed in the couch!!!
just flashed what all things i did since morning... felt like i did a great job!!! suddenly some thing .. some strange feeling....
i wonder what my mom does daily!!!
she wakes up early daily... cleans the house all by herself...
prepares breakfast....
one recipe for me and one for my sister!!!
she uses no vaccum cleaner to clean the floor... she goes to the shop to get groceries.. she cuts it ...
she prepares lunch... not just lunch!!! weekends... even more special lunches!!!
rice... gravy... rasam... buttermilk... two side dishes.... briyani some times... non veg some times!!
papad... fryums!!!!
she then rests for a while... then again she get ready for the evening snacks...
not a normal one... she prepares delicious.. daily .. different varieties...
she cleans all the utensils... cleans the house again.. living room.. our rooms... her room... verandah.. balconies... stair cases.. terrace.... cleans the kitchen...
